Challenge

A Global Marketing Powerhouse, operating across 86 global locations,  faced the intricate challenge of business integration following expansive growth through acquisition. The firm sought to unify its operations, elevate its client engagement approach, and bolster the retention of its top-tier accounts, all while streamlining intricate business processes. The task at hand was multifaceted: to craft a comprehensive change and transformation strategy and spearhead agile program management for phased deployment.

Journey

Working closely with the firm's dynamic leadership team, comprising the CEO, regional heads, the Chief Human Resources Officer, and Chief Client Officers, we embarked on an exploratory journey. Our objective was to decipher the complex business landscape, understand unique client needs, and identify potential process improvements. The outcome was a robust go-forward strategy that encapsulated a visionary change plan. A pivotal part of this approach was the establishment of a global enterprise change network, essential for aligning disparate entities and fostering a collaborative culture. Coupled with this, we developed an innovative client engagement model and orchestrated agile program management across multiple concurrent workstreams. 

Impact

Embracing a methodical and systematic approach to change deployment, the organization witnessed transformative results. Key indicators of success included an impressive 11% boost in Net Promoter Score, demonstrating increased client loyalty and satisfaction. Importantly, the firm succeeded in retaining all its top global accounts - a testament to the effectiveness of the revamped client engagement strategy. 


Beyond these measurable impacts, the organization cultivated a strategic change management capability, embedding a resilience and adaptability to future change. This crucial shift has not only enhanced client experiences but also driven operational efficiency, establishing a new benchmark in the marketing industry. The firm’s transformation journey exemplifies the profound influence of a well-orchestrated change strategy on client engagement and business performance.
